Unlike heavy haul semi-trucks, hotshot trucking involves the use of smaller trucks that are faster and easier to operate than their large counterparts, especially in rural areas.

It’s usually a one-ton truck with 32 Ft. long or greater up to 45 Ft. gooseneck flatbed trailer commonly used for hotshot express deliveries. If you have a smaller quantity of goods that needs to be transported fast, hotshot freight delivery is often the best option. Hotshot trucks usually carry light weight freight or less weight than a full load of a semi truck (LTL freight – “Less Than Truckload”) and will transport directly from origin to destination.
