Open trailers like flatbed and stepdeck are designed to haul agriculture, construction products, oilfield equipment, household goods, machinery, manufactured products, metals, plastics, wood products and other. The main difference between flatbed and stepdeck trailers is that stepdeck trailer can haul loads that can reach up to 10’6” in height, flatbed trailer is limited to only 8’ 6” in height.
